Insurance

AI and software for insurance.

Policies, claims and submissions read and checked, with every figure traced back to the page it came from.

What we build
  • Policy checking
  • Claims intake
  • Client portals

Sound familiar?

Where the time goes.

Insurance agencies, carriers and the lenders who rely on their policies run on documents: declarations pages, claims, submissions and renewals. We build software that reads them, checks them against your rules and shows exactly where every figure came from, so your team decides faster and can show why.

  • Documents checked by hand

Every policy and claim read line by line, to find the one figure that matters.

  • Rules in people's heads

Requirements change, and the checklist is a spreadsheet only one person understands.

  • Audits that take weeks

Showing why a decision was made means digging back through email.

Example A sample flood policy, read and checked by FloodCaliber, a product we built. All data is fictional.

Use cases

What we would build for you.

  • Automation

    The coverage check

    The situation
Before a policy renews or a loan closes, someone compares the declarations page with what the client or the lender requires: limits, deductibles, dates. It is slow, and a missed shortfall becomes a claim nobody can pay.
    What we build
A reader that pulls the figures off the policy and checks them against the requirement, with each value linked to its place on the page. A reviewer confirms every shortfall.

The moment The shortfall, and the line on page 2 that proves it, side by side.

  • AI assistants

    The claim sorter

    The situation
New claims arrive as emails, phone notes, photos and PDFs. An adjuster spends the first hour of every claim sorting what came in and asking for what is missing.
    What we build
Intake that reads each new claim, files its documents, fills in the claim record and drafts the request for anything missing. The adjuster sends it.

The moment A claim filed at 4:50 pm is sorted, with the missing police report already requested, before the adjuster opens it.

  • Data

    The renewal radar

    The situation
Agencies lose accounts at renewal that they could have kept, because nobody had time to see what changed for the client: a new location, new vehicles, a claim last spring.
    What we build
A weekly list of renewals due in the next 90 days, each with what changed on the account and a drafted note for the producer.

The moment The producer asks about the new warehouse before the client mentions it.

How it works

How we take the paperwork off your team.

  1. 01Collect real filesWe gather a sample of the policies, claims and submissions your team checks today, including the messy ones.
  2. 02Write down the rulesWhat has to be true for each document to pass, agreed with the people who check them now.
  3. 03Read and checkThe software reads each document, checks it against your rules, and links every figure to the page it came from.
  4. 04Your team decidesReviewers see what passed, what did not and why, and make the call, with a record kept for the audit.

Common questions

What people ask us first.

What kinds of documents can it read?
Policies, declarations pages, claims, submissions, statements and forms, scanned or digital. We test it on your own files during discovery before anything is built.
Does it make decisions on its own?
No. It reads, checks and flags. A person on your team decides, and the evidence for every flag is one click away.
Can we show an auditor why a decision was made?
Yes. Every check is recorded with the document, the rule and the person who signed off.
