The job

You'll set the technical direction for everything we deliver, from client AI systems to our own products such as FloodCaliber, and you'll stay hands-on: writing code, reviewing the work that matters, and walking into client meetings to turn a messy problem into a plan. You'll bring in clients from your own network and build the team that delivers for them.

What you’ll do

  • Own the architecture and engineering standards across every client build and our own products.
  • Stay hands-on: prototype fast, write code and review the work that matters.
  • Open doors: bring in businesses from your network, lead technical discovery and win their trust.
  • Turn a messy problem from a first call into a plan we can price, staff and deliver.
  • Hire and grow our engineers, including the embedded engineers who join our clients' teams.
  • Keep security and data handling right: separate client data, deployments in a client's own cloud.

What you’ll bring

  • Years in technology consulting or professional services: you've sold, scoped and delivered for clients.
  • A strong network across many businesses, and the relationships to open doors.
  • A hands-on builder: you've shipped and run production software, and you still love to.
  • Practical depth in AI: LLMs, retrieval and evaluation, and a sharp eye for hype.
  • The ability to explain a technical trade-off to a business owner in plain words.
  • The entrepreneurial spirit: you'd rather build a company than join one.

Bonus points

  • You've founded a company, or were early at one
  • AWS, Azure or Google Cloud at scale
  • Regulated industries
